BMW X5 3.0D- Code P3263, sluggish throttle response

So i noticed the X5 was bit sluggish recently, and then the other day, pulling off a roundabout, the car had no power - like it was in the wrong gear.
It eventually chose a gear and shot off.
It then threw up the "Emissions Warning" light.
I drove it 60 odd miles in manual and drove fine to my folks who had an OBD2 reader and gave me the code P3263.
I stripped down the air filter and spayed cleaner into the MAF, cleared the code and drove it home again.
Drove better, but not perfect, and threw up the warning light again after about 50 miles.
As i gather, P3263 is a bit of a generic code - so a trip to my indy?
