What sbc book

I am just starting the resto of my camaro with the 350 sbc, I'm looking for a good book about tuning the engine, bearing in mind it's an old sbc not Ls motor but I do want a book that's going to include modern info about vortecs etc. And not be discussing tuning parts available 20 years ago.

Half the problem of having probably one of the most tuned engines ever is there are hundreds of tuning books most of which are junk. I've got an old from memory vizard book on how to build an sbc, but it's more how to rebuild a worn engine, I don't need the book for that I'm aiming for a book to hemp me build a reasonably priced but reasonably powerful engine, which will likely end up a 383 stroker. Particularly something that details different heads and cams.

There are plenty available but you can find most info you need on some of the american sites for free as its such a popular engine.

Books are always a handy reference without needing a computer etc though.

Do no harm to buy a few really, the more recently published the better I'd think.
