Audi A1 TDI cold running issue

Hi guys
2012 1.6 tdi with 38,000 miles.
Intermittent issue only from cold starts of 6 hours plus.
Rev's fluctuate, engine vibrates (pulsing like a washing machine), car will move but feel like the handbrake is half on. Generally lasts a couple of minutes then seems to sort itself. If rev'd in neutral, the needle will stumble and fight to stop stalling. See video clip.
Car runs fine when warm.
No CEL OR fault codes.
Only had car a month. Noted it had a new temperature sensor done under warranty 2 yr ago. New fuel filter just fitted. Wondered if it was supermarket diesel so last few tanks have been Shell V max.
