Hi all
I'm new to the forums so bear with.
I've got a 1986 Mazda b2000 pickup , the chasse is becoming a real pain as it needs more welding with every MOT ( which I do myself) .
Also the engine is very slow and not very economic to run .
So with that in mind I was thinking of getting something newer like a ford ranger and swapping over the body from one to the other .
I've got the know how and facilities to do it . Just wondering if anyone else as had experience of this and what the lagal requirement are I've tried to look through the forums but can't see any help.

Thanks in advance
Pete

No idea what the lagal requirements are but I suppose it'll depend what country you're in, among other things.

If you're in the UK, https://www.gov.uk/vehicle-registration/radically-... might be applicable.

You have a 32 years old pick up, with a lot of rust on the chassis. Give it to the scrapyard, and buy something more recent, there are a lot of pick-ups for less then 2000 Gbp, with fresh MOT and much less rust.
