Nissan Micra C+C 1.6 Petrol Throttle Body Install
Discussion
I have a 2006 micra c+c convertible 1.6 petrol which I have been told needs a new throttle body due to erratic idle speed. I have ordered the new throttle body but I am not sure whether the new Throttle Body will need programming, i.e.
1. Accelerator Pedal Release Position Learning.
2. Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning.
3. Idle Air Volume Learning (Throttle Position Learning)
Most videos I have seen about replacing the Throttle Body seem to mention the above steps, BUT they are changing the throttle body on automatic, not manual cars, and they are on a different Nissan model (Altima) not on a Nissan Micra C+C.
Can anyone please clear this up for me? Do I need to go through the 3 steps shown above, or is it simply a case of bolt the new Throttle Body on..... and off we go????
