My car doesn't have a screw on filter so I can't use a plate. Is there another way?

Does it have any filter at all? If so, why can't you use a plate that attaches in the same way the filter does?

Presumably it's a car that uses a paper element inside a housing as many modern cars do.

But as always, it's another guessing game !

Normally you can buy a kit for the specific vehicle but if you're trying this on something unusual you may struggle. Essentially you need to T off from a oil feed pipe somewhere in the engine bay.

I think mocal do a couple of adapter plates that can convert an existing element filter setup to a spin on setup, then the normal take off, plus spin on filter goes on that.

Hey sorry for the long reply I've been out. It's a corsa 1.3 cdti and it's a paper filter in a housing and there are no external oil lines that I'm aware of.

Were they not voted performance engine of the year recently ? lol

I dont think there's anything that would save those things from throwing rods or breaking the chain.
