VW T4 Engine

Our 2003 VW T4 van engine seized last week, its a 2.5 TDi diesel engine. Could anybody point us to the best place to source a recon/second hand replacement?

Hi ... Mine did the same last year locked up at the traffic lights ... i just took the engine out a rebuilt it with a reground crank new oil pump and a few other odds and sods. can be very expensive buying " so called" new best bet is to remove it strip it to see what caused it then rebuild it with new bits.
