Audi A6 auto gearbox

Hi guys, the gearbox on my Audi seems to be stuck in top gear and all the gear lights on the dash are lit up, if I let the car cool down then place it in drive, when I set off it pulls away ok and it goes to change up it makes a noise and does the same thing again. Any ideas would be greatly welcome, thanks
