I’m new on here, plz be gentle. Hope it’s ok to post this here. Or if anyone could advise a better place. Ta Bob.
Peugeot 207,2009,1.4 Petrol 16v ( Mini engine) 89000 miles,I've got an intermittent fault,it's like fuel starvation, starts an run until upto temp then now and again when you accelerate it like chugs,it seems to ease if you take foot off throttle and put it down again and never from cold only when warm. I've had it plugged in and there's nothing showing on diagnostics and there's no lights on the dash. I've changed the plugs. Any ideas or similar probs been found by anyone????

I currently have the same with my car and I’m beginning to think it’s the fuel filter. Worth checking and replacing the filter to see if that cures the problem.

I’ve been told there isn’t a filter? Or maybe a gauze one in the lift pump in tank. Do you know we’re there is one. Think you have to take tank off to get to lift pump.

I’m not 100% where it is located. Today I’m trying to sort this issue with my car. I have tried a petrol fuel treatment (redex) and taken it a blast down the motorway. I’ll let you know the results but I think it’s a great place to start.

Not sure on your car but on the mini there is a full (oil filter sized) fuel filter in the tank & when I did mine it was completely black.
