Hi all, just after a bit of advice really. I bought a 2018 Leon SC FR 1.8 TSI 180BHP. I did my research and found the MPG to be slightly lower than my DS but not too bad at 50mpg. I have had the car since April and am averaging 26mpg in ECO mode.. I do a lot of urban driving but on a run it only increases to 30mpg. Is this right? I have done just under 3000 miles. Thank you in advance for your help.
P.S after a run in with the boys in blue, I can’t drive it like I stole it any longer so I don’t think it’s a heavy right foot.

I have a 64 plate with the same engine / power output and averaging 45mpg on my 20mile trip to work, speeds vary between NSL on A1 and 40-NSL on the back roads.

edited to add.
that's in 'normal' mode

Thank you, I have it booked in at the dealer for a check. Just hoping it’s something that can be sorted as this sort of MPG has made me rethink keeping the car. (I love it though) The dealer initially told me to let the engine ‘bed in’ for 2000 miles, no change though. I appreciate you getting back to me, just wanted to see if it was just me or if that’s standard for it.
