Hi all

Do you now where can I get a petrol injector rebuild kit from?
Injector in question is Denso 0240 as used on Volvo XC90 V8 engine, but I guess same or similar physical body can be found on other vehicles.
I managed to brake one of the front retaining rings and crack another one.
So all I need is two retaining rings/spacers, but I guess having a whole set makes more sense.

The thing is I can't seem to find anybody selling them kits... help please!

There is no such thing as a rebuild kit.

If Volvo cannot supply the parts, give ASNU a call.

I don't have any experience with that injector, but for the Bosch ones I'm used to it is possible to buy the internal filters, 'O' rings, spacers and clips separately. The parts are not at all expensive. There are also specialists who will clean and rebuild them for a reasonable price. Suggest you do some googling and reach out to a few of the specialists and see whether they can rebuild your injectors for you or sell you the parts you need to do it yourself.

If they're more than a few years old I suggest it's worth getting the flow rate and spray pattern checked, and someone rebuilding them should do that as a matter of course.

Thanks guys

I did some googling, Mr Injector does not have that sort of kit and doesn't know who might have it apart from some Chinese...

The thing is delivery from China might take into 2019 and isn't all that reliable.
It's a shame really, those buggers are fairly easy to crack on removal and I was hoping they will be available separately.

Here's the Chinese bit

I just can't help myself thinking someone somewhere (not in China) have them... Am I the only one with broken injector ring?
