Because why would they bother for such a small market, when you could just as easily get something made yourself for each individual application, when they sell generically ?
Or if you searched ebay for a few seconds

There's a saying throughout industry that the only stupid question is the one never asked.
Perhaps you should dwell on the that.
There are many many ph'ers who are nowhere near your level of technical expertise and knowledge.
It's a pity then you regularly belittle so many who ask questions.
No doubt you'll have a pithy reply handy, but I'll ask you this.
Whose the one spannering under a bonnet and who's the one who's got 38 years in aviation under his belt and put the spanners down (on the job mostly) two decades ago?
I actually used to enjoy this sub forum but like others have become exasperated with the in fighting between certain engine builders.
However all is not lost, when a certain party talks about his spouses church life etc, etc and you wade in, next time stop and think for a moment that he may have actually been taking the piss...

Well said, huge increase in this over the last few years on here(along with the p.c brigade) more interested in belittling O. P,getting a laugh, taking the piss etc....Perhaps you should dwell on the that.

Remember a couple of years back i posted about how upsetting i found it following a lady who plowed up onto a concrete verge in a big Jeep, never felt it or swerved to get back on road! Kept straight on and hit a metal barrier end on, i was first on the scene, she was a mess!
How did this happen? , she was on her mobile! To mount a kerb and not notice just shows how caught up she was in it, all i got was nimby this, nimby that,i got the pure piss taken out of me, it was a joke, how times have changed eh?
O. P, i totally get what you mean, often with aftermarket parts pieces will be included to adapt, seal original location of your original part, not an unusual query on your part.

Ignore the piss takers and they will go away or you could take the piss out of them but..../////?????Perhaps you should dwell on the that.

..blanked off the dizzy hole in a CVH head when going to 3D ignition and if so, what did you use or how did you do it?
It's these little things that, you know, the suppliers of said 3D ignition widgets blissfully ignore...
Why would said suppliers need to bother reinventing the wheel when Ford already did it for their cvh EFi models? It's these little things that, you know, the suppliers of said 3D ignition widgets blissfully ignore...

With all that aviation experience behind you....you don't know how to plug a hole ? And yes, that is a serious question.Whose the one spannering under a bonnet and who's the one who's got 38 years in aviation under his belt and put the spanners down (on the job mostly) two decades ago?
Did you routinely leave big holes in aircraft so oil would piss out ?
There is one thing asking questions, but to blame a supplier of generic parts as if it is their fault they do not offer other parts for individual applications, does push things into the stupid question territory.
Now if you were to buy a 100% specific and complete kit for your vehicle, that would be a different matter...but I'm guessing you did not.
But as there is also no actual need to remove the dizzy other than for appearances...many will not, and as such the part you seek is not desired by all and so would always be a cost extra or DIY.
In the time it has taken to post, reply, cry, dry your tears etc etc, you could probably have made something to seal that hole.

Not applicable according to Burton Power though?
What do you mean? All CVH heads have the same sized hole in the end. That's what Ford put in the XR2i head when they went to distributorless ignition. From memory the coil pack then bolted to the head using the distributor bolt holes.twibs said:
I've done it when going from dizzy to EFI on a cvh ,as said above use the seal for a fiesta rs turbo ,burtons, gaskets for classics or any seal places do them as they are a pretty standard size.
it seems his CVH is unique...special.He could even take that spade and use it, unless he's digging a hole to bury his head in it.

Next decision is whether to keep the twin 40's or go rad with bike carbs..
