FORD COSWORTH V6 BOA ENGINE

I üst bought a 1976 Cosworth Vega that has had a Ford Cosworth V6 2.9L installed. I like to car fo far, but I have 1 question that I gave not been able to find the answer to. ....... What does the overall engine weigh ?? If anyone does know, I would appreciate the info. Thanks

I have done a bit of googling for you to save you the time (About 43,100 results (0.44 seconds)) and it seems to be around 380lb/170kg to 400lb/180kg depending who you believe.

A friend of mine used to text me questions rather than google things for himself. He took the hint when I started giving him made up answers. I think I’ll start doing that here, could be fun.

It's a Cologne V6 so it'll weigh about as much as the moon...

...I just googled; 'How heavy is the moon?' and apparently it doesn't weigh anything!? That's my mind blown for the rest of the day....

It weighs about the same as an LS 427ci - 7.0 ltr and makes less then half the power.

That said it costs a fraction of the cost.
