Engine starts shaking at low rpm

Hello all,
After a +3h spiritual drive with my 1983 SL500 and a snack, the car started to shake at low rpm.
I thought it was just something i felt in my head because my wife did not notice it.
We got home and the oldest son wanted to go for a little ride with the SL.
The same thing happend and the car even stalled. And now the battery light was on.
Does someone have an idea of what could be wrong?
If you give more gas it doesnt seem to have a problem

It's misfiring. Might be plugs, leads or if the battery light is on, alternator failure and it was running solely off the battery.
Lucky you got home if so.
If you have a meter, stick it across the battery, should show 12v with the engine off, and 14vish with engine running. If not, then it's the alternator as likely suspect. If all is good there, then plugs and leads next.
