KTM 500 Engine Issues

I have inherited a KTM 500 engine and have found that it is running as a 2 stroke rather than a 4 stroke (injecting fuel twice as much per cycle) is there a way to rectify this issue?

Just run it at half speed.

It's perfectly normal for 4-stroke engine to have multiple injection events per engine cycle. That doesn't make it a 2-stroke engine.
