oil pressure light
Discussion
My car is a Corsa C 1.2 SXI twinport 2005.
A couple of days ago the oil light flashed once and went off. It has remained off since.
The pressure sensor is good, and when disconnected does not activate the light.
Can the light behind the dash be replaced or is there possibly a controlling fuse somewhere.
Any assistance/ideas would be appreciated Thanks steve67

Have you checked the oil level?
Could have done just been one of those things and came on erroneously or oil sloshed to one side or something. I wouldn't worry about it unless it happens again. I would check the oil level and make sure there are no leaks if all good then I wouldn't worry.

Hi, yes first thing to check and was still on the full mark.
I have looked all over the net for any info but I found nothing
of what powers the light, so may be a change of instrument panel
A bit vicious but to me the oil light is very important and if the
emc wakes up it might put me in limp mode unexpectedly and in a difficult
situation
Thanks anyway
