Liqui Moly - Ceratec - any good?

I've seen this product recommended a few times on the forum. Add to the oil to reduce wear and to help quieten rattly or ticky engines and improve NVH and smoothness.

Any experiences?

I don't remember seeing anyone else recommend it. I wouldn't add anything to your oil unless the oil manufacturer recommended it.

What problems are you trying to cure/mask?

A few yrs ago I had what sounded like a sticky hydraulic tappet. Really prounonced after a cold start, particularly if it'd been standing for a couple of days.

I had been using triple qx, and swapped to Petronas oil, both the same grade and spec. Problem solved and not returned. It may have been just one of those things, but I'm not risking going back to triple qx.
