Ford S-Max 2.2 Manual Diesel Juddering
Discussion
Hi all,
Currently driving around Europe and noticed a juddering/hesitation around 2000rpm. It's happened before but has become more noticeable over the last few days, maybe 5 up and luggage isn't helping.
It can be avoided by driving faster (95mph on the autobahn and it was fine) or slower or even the same speed in 5th.
Research online suggests MAF sensor but I've removed it and sprayed with electric contact cleaner but hasn't seemed to improved. Could it be a dodgy sensor that needs replacing?
Thinking other causes could be EGR related or the ECU map?
Anyone had similar and knows a cause or solution? It's getting quite severe and annoying!
Cheers.
