My dtc had activated twice now a few weeks apart, that I've noticed, while driving at motorway speed in a straight line with no loss of traction. Turning it off gives back throttle response, but clearly is not ideal to be driving round without it on. Today the type pressure light came on, however while all tyres were slightly under pressure (a while since I checked them) they were all about right without one being obviously low so drive on. An hour or two later after being parked up the light came back, so I checked again with no difference in pressures.
As the pressure monitor is based on wheel speed (and now won't reset), does this combined with the DTC sound like a dodgy wheel speed sensor? Reading with Torque via Bluetooth monitor doesn't give any error codes.
Ta!

The toothed ABS rings on the driveshafts are prone to corrosion and affecting the ability of the ABS wheel speed sensors to get a good signal.

Would that show up as a bad signal if read with a proper code reader or is it a case of old school get the spanners out and look see which one (s) it is?

A code reader such a Carly would indicate which sensor is not reading correctly.

Jack it up or get it put on a lift. It should be easy to ID.
