Hi folks. Iv got a 2016. 1600 diesel Vivaro with 12000 miles on the clock. Started getting problems with the clutch pedal not returning then a few days after that started to strugle with the gears mainly coming out of 1st and into 2nd and out of 2nd now there's a vibration. On short journeys didn't seem that bad but further you 8d go the worst it would get Any ideas of what the problem could be? Cheers

First post in 3.5 years, top lurking!

Sounds like your clutch needs bleeding/is leaking/has air in it or all of the above.

Check to see if the reservoir has fluid in to start with & if it is shared with the brakes.

Any sign of fluid/oil leaks under the gearbox?

Vauxhall do a 3 year warranty. His 16 plate may well be out of warranty. Although with low miles he may get a bit of goodwill

Hi folks cheers for the replys, clutch started going so contacted Vauxhall just got told out of warranty. Booked into local garage to be told the clutch and dual flywheel were needing replaced, mate works in the garage and said the fly wheel was loose. Kind of explains the vibraition I was starting to get.

Have you made a typo there or really have a van with only 12k on the clock and a failing clutch?
I know Vivs aren't known for their build quality (in particular the gearboxes), but that's just ridiculous.
