Need help identifying part

As per pictures need help identifying the brown pipe that bends down towards the exhaust manifold. Off and audi a6 c6 2.0tdi engine code bre I believe.

For additional info the part has snapped off at the bottom. I havent seen the car yet but I hope this is enough info to get by on. Need to get a new or used one asap

Everything is brown in that picture. An arrow might help understand which pipe you're referring to. The best way to identify a pipe is to work out what it is connecting. What are the two ends connected to?

I dont know what it is going from and too as I have not seen the car. (Not my pictures) not sure how to add an arrow but it's right centre of the screen on the first one and in the second one you can see it go down towards the manifold and then out of sight

Usually pipes like that relate to the EGR system

It is part of the Exhaust Gas Recirc valve or EGR as above.

Yep as above looks like part of the EGR pipe work.
