Clio Fault Code V1123
Discussion
Is the prefix definitely V rather than U? V is not a standard prefix. The first '1' indicates that it's a manufacturer defined code rather than a standard one. If it's a 'U' prefix, it might be the 'fuel rail pressure too high' error shown here:

Thank you for your input - so I went to check if it's "U" or "V" and got a different code this time! In fact 3 codes:-
Now it says P0304 cylinder 4 misfire, P0300 random / multiple cylinder misfire and P0304 (again) cylinder 4 misfire.
The 1123 code has gone, and I didn't clear it!
Any ideas? I could try spark plugs first, then coils.

Hello
Solved!!! Thank you to Green & blondini, you helped without realising it. You can see below that it's easy for me to mis-read the "U" as "V", but without your input I wouldn't have gone back and re-read the codes and got the new (more accurate) one of P0304.
It was a faulty Ignition coil.
I replaced the plugs for good measure, because number 4 was all black, after all the misfiring.
... interesting though, I did the wrong cylinder first time because on all my previous cars "number 4" has been the gearbox end, but on a Clio that's number 1. I did wonder why the code=reader said cylinder 4 but plug 1 was fouled up!
