Hey guys had the dsg gti for a while now had loads done to it at first noticed the temp fluctuating so i got one of the thermostats replaced the one with rings around it. And it stopped it fluctuating but it takes ages to warm up around 30minutes maybe longer at times of driving constantly. Any idea what it could be? Had the timing belt water pump and alternator changed same time as the stat aswell. Not to mention it has been serviced fully excluding spark plugs before it went in.

Sounds as if the thermostat isn't closing off the radiator circuit properly. I suggest you take it back to whoever worked on the cooling system last and have them deal with the problem.
