GTI MK5 STOP ENGINE OFF CHECK OWNERS MANUAL
Discussion
Hey guys hoping someone can shed some light here. Was revving car and oil light came on dash it said stop engine off check owners manual. The car was serviced a few months ago long with the diverter valve timing belt, water pump, thermostat and alternator belt change. However i have noticed it takes a while to warm up about 30 mins of driving. When i bought car it was saying the saying the same back then. It had a bad remap that use to drop it in limp mode aswell but that was take off. No strange funny noises from car it is stock drives well someone help pleaseee!!😔

So it is stock but has had a remap!
Both of those statements can't be true.
Have you now had it de-mapped for want of a better word?
It was when i bought it pal now is fully stock it was going in limp mode and showed the oil sign back then aswell. Both of those statements can't be true.

Not really engine was really warm
But would be same situation as last time i guess. Put half litre of oil not so long ago to fill it up aswell. Out atm so will check in a while when back home will keep you updated.

More importantly...pieces of what ?
You need to fix the actual cause, of whatever those "pieces" were and where they came from or it will just happen again.
Dont really know tbh the lad said it could be pieces from the dipstick. It wasn't really that bad could the previously failed dv pieces have gotten in there? You need to fix the actual cause, of whatever those "pieces" were and where they came from or it will just happen again.
