Citroen ds3 sport EML issue
Discussion
Hi guys,
Having a few issues with my citroen ds3 sport and looking for a bit of advice on what my next move should be.
First of all the background of the car;
Citroen ds3 dsport thp
1.6 petrol
Manual
99k
So basically the issue is whenever the car idles it hunts a bit and the car vibrates when this happens, strangely though the revs barely move. The EML is on and I get the following faults;
P061F
P0016
P3010
P0033
I have done a full service including new spark plugs and coil packs, its had a new camshaft sensor, new turbo pressure switch but the fault remains. The eml went off for a short period when the cam sensor was fitted, but other than that always comes back instantly when cleared.
Apart from the idle issue it drives really well, not in safe mode, picks up and pulls well.
Mot round the corner so i need to clear the eml to keep it on the road, so any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Agree with the above, as with any direct injection petrol engine the intakes can become carboned up and restricted.
But i don't think you will find that fixes your issue. Id be concentrating on p0016 -cam/crank correlation. You will almost certainly have incorrect engine timing, these engines go through timing chain kits like they do fuel. Id seriously advise getting it checked or checking yourself, its relatively quick and easy and will give you a definite answer.
