Getting a circlip back on - any tools?
Discussion
Hi All
Just replacing seals in a Porsche 944/968 PS pump and really struggling to get a circlip back on. Thought it was hard getting it off, but now Im really stumped.
See below it doesnt have holes in it, so normal circlip pliars no use.

Any suggestions for a tool to do this properly? All the videos dont show it being done and seem to suggest a couple of screw drivers.

No tool needed, the method used here https://youtu.be/1OWa5Gg56ss?t=373 works
Put clip at its opening over the shaft at an angle and hold it there, it will grip the shaft and allow you to open the clip up and get it all the way over
