Oil on engine cover coming from dip stick - new car purchase

Hi guys,
Wonder if you could give me some advise please, I am picking up a Jaguar XE 2016 diesel later today, only 25,000 miles with full jag service history and recent MOT and service.
I am not clued up so much with engines but looking inside the hood there was a small ish patch of oil on the plastic engine cover just above the dipstick, I actually couldn't work out how it could even get there but it could possibly be blowing up from the dipstick.
Checking the level of oil it was at maximum, so maybe it could have just been filled too much?
Just a little worried in case there is excessive crankcase pressure which I know could be a very expensive fix.
I guess its not likely to be something more series like worn out rings with it only doing 25k?
It is an older guy who has been driving it like miss daisy in Eco mode all the time.

Run up the engine both cold and hot and pull out the dipstick whilst the engine idles you should get no pressure or oil exit, you may find the guy as been careless checking the oil and its dripped from the stick and onto the cover you mention , a couple of drips will smear/spread a lot on a black plastic cover better still blag along someone who knows about cars

It's probably just been dropped there from the dipstick or when it was filled up.
