Is that one of those cutaway engines you used to see at motor shows?

Nicely ventilated, no need for a pcv circuit and it's got 'active anti-corono' built in. She did well. How long did she drive it like that? Reason I ask is so she doesn't do any more damage.;-)

"It was making a weird noise for a week before it happened."
"What kind of noise?"
"I dunno, weird."

Like this, about 20 yards until she came to a stop. There was a big bang, lots of smoke, and no power. It was only afterwards that she told me it had been making a noise for a week.

It would have been nice to check it out before it blew, but a replacement engine was only £100 and a day's work.

Sorry I read the title as "WIFE HAS BEEN MAKING A WEIRD NOISE FOR THE LAST WEEK"

Interesting, my wife's been making a weird noise since we got married...
