Starter motor noise

I have recently purchased a seat Ibiza 1.4 16v 2014 plate. But I’m concerned that the starter motor is making a noise. It does it on a cold start and was much louder this morning. It is a high pitched whine that lasts for a few seconds. The car starts every time and drives really well other than this noise. Should I be concerned about it?? I have posted a video below.

It truly is nothing to worry about.

Feel free to keep an ear out for anything getting worse but it is perfectly normal.

Thank you. I’ve never had a car that did that so I was worrying that it is about to fail. I won’t panic then!

No, it is just the starter motor slowing down after disengaging from the engine.
