Interesting mower engine

I saw this at my local Garden Centre. It says it has a Citroen 2CV engine, which I can identify as the horizontal cylinders (2CV has a flat twin engine).
It looks like they've then taken another 2CV engine, cut it in half and mounted the two cylinders in a vee.
Anybody know anything more about this odd creation? I'd love to see the crankshaft!

Wouldn't surprise me if the extra cylinders were just decorative.

You're most likely right. Seems like an awful lot of engineering otherwise! I will try to ask them to start it up next time I'm there.
