Ford V6 inlet

I'm not that well up on the Essex/Cologne type but how would this work on a V6

Same way as this...

The carbs feed into a plenum.

Ah, gotcha there's a plenum chamber there somewhere, so it's like one big carb or 4 little (LOL) ones into a chamber then into the 6 as required.
I was looking at 4 into 6 separate inlets or IIRC the inlets have a single and a siamese port so two ports per head? Or am I totally mistaken and should stick to 4's & 8's

Three inlet and two outlet isn’t it? My memory isn’t what it was.

Edit.
Essex was three and three, the Cologne was three in, two out.
