Hello,

Trying to figure out an issue I have with a Renault with the F4Rt engine.

In hard acceleration towards the redline, changing gear quickly and coming back on the throttle, there is a long pause before power resumes. It’s like there is a restriction. If you change gear with a bit of a pause, full power/acceleration is available. Engine is on high miles but otherwise pulls well (it is used on track).

Could it be a collapsing boost hose? N75 boost control valve? Fuel pump? Anyone had this issue in a Megane/Laguna GT?

Thank you.

Failing recirculation valve? would be something to check. Used to replace them on Audis with forge 007.

I never realised Renault actually called it the FART engine. That's hilarious.
