New injector fitted on remapped VW TDI
Discussion
My car (MK7 2.0 GT TDI) had a remap 2-3 years ago, no issues since.
I have recently had cause to replace an injector (No4) and its not fuelling the same as the others, running rough and slight knocking?
The injector was moved to number 3 and the issue followed the injector. The new injector was replaced by the supplier to rule out an injector fault, and the issue remained.
Q1: Is this a coding issue that can be resolved with a return to the tuners.
Q2: Surely the injectors are controlled through the ECU which has had no recent changes?
Id be so grateful for the communities help, Im lost! Thanks.

From memory these need coding but also depends what remap was done ie to set the flow rate, file upload type then just coding should be ok if full on rolling road type then may well require another session on the rollers
Also incorrect fueling over a prolonged period can seriously knacker an engine
