Cold Start Engine Noise - Is this normal?

Hello and Happy New Year to everyone.

My engine (3.0 litre straight-6 petrol turbo, 13k miles) sounds like this on a cold start:

Is that normal? Or a bit rougher than it should be?

Normal injector sound. My 140i does the same.

Seems normal for a DI petrol engine. They all sound a bit clattery from cold. What you’re hearing is a combination of the high pressure fuel pump, the injectors and the fast cylinder burn that DI gives.

Sounds fine, though just to be sure have you driven through any deep water of late...
