My 2012 Alfa Mito 1.3JTDM has a Cam Chain, and I was wondering with the car approaching 70,000 miles and over 9 years old when this should be replaced. I believe this engine is also used in various Vauxhall Corsa’s and Vans.

The car was bought at 3 years old from Alfa and has always had annual services (including the oil and filter).

Life of the engine unless there is an issue that makes you wonder.

They don't need changing. The important thing is that it has had regular oil changes at the correct intervals and the correct spec. They don't normally have a problem with stretching but can snap. They are designed to break rockers and not valves so if it does go it's not usually terminal but that doesn't mean its cheap.
