Power-flow stainless back box

I've been quoted £300 s&f for an elderly merc, the flange has rusted and starting to leak.

Seems a lot but maybe I'm out of touch

So just get a standard box from your local fast fit outlet, I would have thought much less for one of those.

Would they do one for a 94 SL? I thought I'd be well and truly in the realms of custom exhausts.

SS is more expensive than mild, but it's the longevity that's the bonus. Fitted a ss system to my Range Rover Classic in the mid 90s & it's still fine.

Local indy place has confirmed no can do. Need to find custom place, I've been recommended A44 exhausts in Worc.

I don't think I've ever seen anything from any powerflow that would be worth £300.
