Belt is too tight IMO

Ta. A quick search online suggests that too. Is it easy enough to readjust? Just a 1.6 8v 2008.

Belt is too tight. It will break before long.

As above, belt is too tight if it is talking to you, could wipe out the tensioner and/or belt, get it sorted, don’t take the risk.

As above, it's too tight, my mates sister had a new cam belt on her Corsa which was whirring, I told her to take it back to the garage asap but (and I don't want to worry you!) it snapped before she got there.

I think the engine mount needs to be removed on those to get access to the belt. Not a particularly hard job but you'll need a jack to support the engine.

Its a sprung/auto loaded tensioner with an initial index starting mark if they fked that part up they need arse kicking, hope you changed the cambelt driven water pump at the same time , like mentined already sounds over-tensioned
