Cayenne - Oil on Bell Housing

Hi all
A quick question for anyone with knowledge of a 2012 Cayenne 3.0D engine bay - is it theoretically possible for an oil leak from the turbo Intake pipe (where it clamps on) to result in the presence of oil on the bell housing? housing?
Many thanks in advance for any insights; having an argument with a garage over some repairs at the moment!
