I have recently changed my timing belt, the tensioner was adjusted to postion 2 rather than 1 in a lot of videos. Mechanic said its fine. Car drives and sounds normal.

Is it an issue or fine?

Thanks

I would prefer to see the pointer at the cut out as under-tensioned belts are likely to fail faster than a correctly tensioned one. If you have been running it you might find it is in another place now as the belt stretches and settles down.
