Anyone know why my bro's mk2 MR2 sounds like a VW Camper/Beetle when accelerating? It's like a "pluf pluf pluf" sort of noise and only when accelerating. Idles fine and isn't lacking power either :confused:
Spot on chaps I'd recently changed the engine and didn't notice the downpipes with the new engine were lacking a couple of gaskets and hence blowing. PITA to change but now runs perfectly
