looking for recommendations for a garage to install a reconditioned 2.0 ingenium engine in an F pace 2017 ideally garage engine builder a member of FER

engine in vehicle is serviceable / bottom end wear

W Drake @ Bradford are experts with these engines, they will be able to advise. They are also members of the FER.

thanks , that's the second recommendation for Drakes , i gave them a call and they can rebuild the engine but i have to find a garage to remove the engine take it up to Bradford from Dorset and then find someone to install afterwards

was hoping to find a garage who could do everything if that's possible ............other than Jaguar

I would be looking for a garage to take the engine out, get the engine rebuilt and reinstall it. They would be sending the engine to your specialist for the rebuild rather than doing it in-house - this is completely normal for a small business.

It's far better this way from your point of view since there is only one person responsible in case of any problems. Otherwise you can be left with the engine builder blaming the installer and the installer blaming the builder, and yourself left footing the bill.

I would always prefer just one point of contact and 1 invoice etc.
