Has the 2L Ingenium engine got any better?

Having read some of the horror stories on here I found myself looking at Jags not realising they had the dreaded engine, a dealer assures me that post 2019 engines are fine, stronger cam chain etc.
Any truth in this and would you trust one now?

A friend works for a JLR dealer. Some of the storues are interesting.

I would not go anywhere near one of those engines, or the rest of the cars.
