New clutch cost for 2011 audi a3 tfsi

Hi anyone able to give me a ball park cost for replacement clutch for an Audi a3 1.4 tfsi 2011 ?

Is this a job a non audi mechanic undertake?

I just got a clutch and flywheel for my 2016 150 bhp diesel Golf Alltrack supplied and fitted at a local indie for £1700. Which TBH I thought was pretty steep. VW quoted £2.5k and I'm not in an expensive part of the UK.

Question is though why should a 70000m car have a rattly as fk flywheel?


I have noticed since (3500m) computer shows ave mpg gone from 46 to 51.
