It's been a long time since I was here but need some advice on turbo cleaning.. I've seen a few videos where a full can of turbo cleaner is injected into the air intake.. The whole idea seems very odd and I've read that it's a no no but there are also the go for it folks..

I'm going to be taking the turbo off an astra elite 2.0 cdti and hoping that there will be no issues getting it off and puttng it back on. Access looks easy..

Is it just a case of spraying the exhaust side and leaving it to dry then reassemble or does it need to be split and toothbrush style cleaning?

What's your method and why?

Your profile name is ironic. What problem are you trying to solve?

Try the website of the product you want to use. wink

Only you know what it is, we don't, so not sure how you want us to help without the relevant information.

Look up Mr muscle turbo cleaner, it's meant for your oven but has got a acid in it that brakes down the carbon.
Spray as near to the turbo as possible.
Leave for a few hours, I did it again then take it for a run , Italian tune up style

My name is not ironic when you know why it's Google ninja.. Not because I'm a Google research addict who can find answers quickly it's because they terminated my Google adsense account over a small technicality I hadn't seen in a piece of code and I swore if I ever met anyone who worked in the adsense department if Google I would ninja them a ninja chop to the cahoonies.. the name stuck
