Vw/Audi newer 1.6tdi 2013-on Bosch injectors
Discussion
Clha engine injector Stuck solid, can get it move left right (with a rubber mallet and drift) but it's not causing it to free up.
These injectors are usually taken out in pairs. So the hold-down clamp is still on. This makes access to the injector top nut difficult. Would the injector be scrap if it's nut under the connector is removed?
Heard a couple of things, one being that if stuck a slide hammer is no good. Need to free it up first. Using a top fitting slide hammer would mean cutting the hold-down clamp?
My other option is to cut the plastic cam cover and try to work the crud from close quarters.
What would you do?
