Seen a nice e46 I like.

Thinking of pulling the trigger on a e46 330ci manual with 115k but it has lpg installed. If I buy it would be removed as we don’t have any lpg stations around us. I just want to know what extra things or what things in general I should check around the car that the lpg system might have cause problems with.
Is there extra damage the system could have done the engine and how would I know? etc etc. I’m just concerned about extra wear. Probably need a replacement manifold once it’s out and to fill some holes.

I had an M54 engined 530 several years ago that I had LPG fitted to, the difference was not noticeable in any way except being close to 50% lower fuel cost mile/mile.
Even if there aren't many near you I certainly wouldn't remove it if it were mine, especially at current fuel costs.
It does absolutely no damage to anything the only provise is get the right plugs & change them every year.
It is much cleaner burning & barely even colours the oil by the time it is changed.

That’s good to know. I’ll see what I think if I end up buying then. Open mind and all that. Even if there aren't many near you I certainly wouldn't remove it if it were mine, especially at current fuel costs.
