Sorry for cross post from Jaguar forum.

Asking for a friend who has this engine in a 2019 e pace. Car is drinking oil - approximate figures are that he reckons to have added approx. 4.5 litres in the last six months over approximately 4,500 miles. Low oil is triggering EML but not low oil warning. This is going away once oil is added to the top of the dipstick. Can has previously had timing chain renewed at 3 years old. Regularly serviced. Plugging in OBD reader gives P0341 camshaft position sensor which also disappears once oil added.

Not seen a garage re this. Car on 105K miles.

Any ideas. Is it fubarred? Turbo?

Many thanks in advance.

WBAC or Motorway would be the sensible solution, they are spiteful engines.

Dpf issues, bore wash, bad rings, general poor quality components and engineering. These engines are turds
