Help. Flat battery!

I store my car in a garage and as I have been away the battery is now completely flat. The car came with a Halfords trickle charger so I thought I'd try that overnight.It has no instructions so which wire to which terminal?! Red to negative or positive? And should this be enough overnight as its off for a service and MOT first thing tomorrow!

Red typically is positive. Overnight on a trickle should give enough to start the car.
