Just wanted to know if Aston Martin uses Jaguar parts for their cars.

Have the used them in teh past and do they stil use them?

What are the major differences? I've heard a DB7 is actually an uprated XJS?

DB7 is an XK8 with a few mods. The XJS is a far better car built when Jaguar wasn't owned by Frod.

Nope, DB7 is based on modified XJS floorpan and predates original XK8 - which is also based on modified XJS floorpan. Also, DB7 originally had XJR derived supercharged straight 6 with manual box (auto option) whereas XK8 came with all-new quad-cam V8 and auto only.

The latest XK-8 is all new. The one referred to here dates back to 97.
