Ford KA PAS leaks.
Discussion
Folks, can I just quickly run this one across you.
A friend hit a badger over the summer and the resultant damage was to do with the PAS system on the car (this is all i know). The car was repaired with by local garage, but this week has dumped a load of PAS fluid on their drive, with a resultant lost of PAS. I've said I'll sort it this weekend cos after past experience I trust the garage in question about as much as I can throw their 4post ramp.
Before I turn up can anyone give me an idea of the likely leak points, do any of the hoses run close to the exhaust, are any of the joints bloody difficult to get to hence a bodger would only half tighten etc etc. It seems to be quite a large sudden leak, not a loose joint thats seeping, judging by the amout of fluid I saw last night on their drive.
Thanks in advance
Regards
Iain

I don't know Ka's specifically, but don't a lot of cars have a loop of metal tubing running around infront of the radiator to cool the fluid? That's where I'd start if there was a badger incident in the past. Perhaps it was damaged and fatigued over time, or just wasn't repaired properly? It's a stab in the dark I know...
